Happy New Year with my blue scarf

‘Happy New Year’

Always busy with school and tests, but now I am enjoying my Christmas Holiday.

I finally can catch up some sleep and do other really nice things. I spend time with my family and got to know my niece better. Getting to know her, laughing together, listening to the ‘guano apes’ and listening to the hilarious stories of my grandparents is one of the nicest things which I enjoyed the most last couple of days.

Autumn is passed. I like autumn, autumn with its coloured leaves, it’s stormy weather and it’s variety of mushrooms. And now it’s Winter. I hope it will snow soon. Nature is so beautiful when it’s  covered with snow. I love to walk in the snow, especially when it’s fresh. It’s like a whole new world, and I am the first one to discover it. The sound of walking on fresh snow is unique and amazingly beautiful. And after walking in the snow and making a lot of pictures nothing is more pleasant than coming home and drinking hot chocolate.

Last year I made a beautiful and warm scarf. I really like knitting it calms me down when I have a lot on my mind. The vertical stripes are made by alternating wales of knit and purl stitches. I used knitting needles with a large diameter.

Autumn red

It has been a long time since I posted my last blog post. And maybe it feels even longer for me than it really is. Last few weeks I have been incredibly busy, I had to do an unbelievable amount of work for school and I had to do lots and lots of test (who happily all went well). I also ‘lost time’ because I have been sick (just an ordinary flu and a bad cold). And on top of this I visited some schools (for my future vocational training), I made a lot of plans, I had many thoughts and I made some decisions for the future.

So now everything has been done, it’s time to post something again.

For these pictures I went to the forest, I love to be there because I feel save and protected when I’m surrounded by trees. Most of the trees are so big that it feels like no one can notice me, because I am so much smaller. And especially when it’s autumn it’s really beautiful there. The leaves are falling and get different colours, mushrooms are popping up everywhere and I even love the smell of the forest.

It was a sunny but also very cold day, so I decided to take a lot of scarves with me to show on the pictures. I’m also wearing my autumn coat, and beneath that a black dress that is self-made. If you take a good look at the pictures you can see that in a couple of pictures I’m wearing trousers. I changed my outfit to show you my sneakers. I love these sneakers! If you like art history (like I do) you see a piece of Jean-HonorĂ© Fragonard’s painting, called ‘The Swing’. When I took my sneakers out of there box I found a little note in it. There was written ‘These shoes are a piece of art, where them with proud’. And believe me…. I do!

I hope you like the pictures and want to tell me what you think.

It was a nice day in Amsterdam

It’s hard to find the time to go outside and take some pictures of my clothes at the moment (but I promise an outfit post soon). I’m just so busy with doing all my schoolwork that I can’t find time to do anything else! Sometimes I feel like a bird that is locked up in a cage. But I  know that if I keep on working hard, I will fly away in the end with a fine certification. So finally it will be worth it.                                                                                                                 So for now I have some random pictures I took a couple of weeks ago. That day I went to Amsterdam to the IJ-hallen with my mum.The IJ-Hallen is a big market where people sell second hand things. I had never been there before but it was really great. There was so much to see and so many different things to buy and such a good atmosphere.  I bought a nice grey skirt, after that we went shopping in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is really great for shopping, I spend quite a lot of money on new clothes. So when I have time off from schoolwork, I will certainly show you my new buys. I’m already looking forward to making that post. But for now you will have to do with the pictures I took in Amsterdam. I hope you like the pictures and you want to tell me what you think of them.
